Abstract
Determination of the apparent mean particle size of dye–surfactant complexes by means of diffusion measurements suggests that the extent of interaction between acid wool dyes and non‐ionic surfactants of of the nonylphenol–ethylene oxide type increases with the hydrophobic nature of the dye.
