Abstract

The power of the internet enables users to easily access history, documents, and articles. This research focuses on the development of the widely-known and adaptable Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing in living environments, where user adoption has reached a significant level. IoT will continue to exist and grow due to its advanced technology and supporting factors. This study employs a systematic literature review approach, to achieve this, several keywords such as “Internet of Things”, “Cloud Storage”, “IoT in Finance and Accounting”, and “Cloud Storage in Finance and Accounting” were used to search for relevant articles. The result of this search yielded 37 articles that specifically addressed the topic. manual observation was performed, and each article was read and analyzed one by one, from this observation, it was found that only 16 articles were relevant to the adoption of IoT and cloud storage technology in Indonesia for finance and accounting purposes. This study's findings suggest that the integration of IoT and cloud computing technologies in Indonesia's finance and accounting sectors has immense potential for growth and development. However, addressing the associated risks and challenges and investing in the development of a skilled workforce are crucial steps that need to be taken to capitalize on these technologies to drive innovation, efficiency, and economic growth in the country. Moreover, the adoption of IoT and cloud computing in finance and accounting requires a skilled workforce with a deep understanding of these technologies.
