An analysis of the asset class classic cars will be provided in the following This includes an insight on the technical terms, an overview of the market participants, the intentions of classic car acquisition as well as factors of measurable value development. On this basis, different possible types of investments in the asset class will be presented, with due regard to specific opportunities and risks. Conclusions can be drawn on how the investment in classic cars can be operationalized in an existing wealth management structure For this purpose, a model is presented, which reflects the customers’ needs around the investment in classic cars.
