Abstract

As digital social networks became more popular, they represent themselves as a medium for publishing and consuming art works in general, among which we highlight comics. Publishing in a social network is posed not only as an option, but also as something mandatory for authors, considering the visibility this medium represents, theoretically. This possibility entails a number of positive aspects for both artists and audiences, but it also comes with a great deal of negative aspects as well. Keeping these in mind, this paper aims to present both positive and negative aspects linked to publishing comics on a social network.
