Abstract
“Risk management” and “the public sector” are two critical issues that are of great importance both academically and practically today. In this context, this study aims to understand the development and trends of academic studies in the fields of risk management in the public sector. In this study, the bibliometric data gathered from Web of Science databases of 446 publications analyzed by bibliometric analyses techniques and mapping method. The first step of the research is to collect bibliometric data of research conducted in Web of Science databases using the keywords “Risk Management” and “Public Sector”. These data include publication years, document types, researcher profiles, Web of Science categories, Web of Science indexes, institutions, languages, countries/regions, publishers, research areas, funding institutions, sustainable development goals and keywords. Remarkable findings were reached regarding the basic information of the publications, citation analysis results, collaboration analysis results and advanced analysis results.
