Abstract SYNOPSIS The meaning of i’jiiz (inimitability); [the fact that] it is incumbent on the prophets to perform miracles; [that] the best miracles are those which best resemble the most advanced arts of the time; the Qur’an as a divine miracle; the Qur’an as an eternal miracle; the Qur’an and the [forms of] knowledge; the Qur’an and the correctness of expression; the systems of regulation and legislation in the Qur’an; the precision of expression in the Qur’an; the disclosure of hidden matters by the Qur’an; the Qur’an and its characteristic underlying meanings.
