Abstract

Inductors and transformers are an integral part of the Switched-mode Power Supply (SMPS), however the influence of the magnetic circuit of these components on the level of conductive interference was not considered. Approach to assessing the influence of the magnetic core parameters of inductors and transformers of SMPS on the level of electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated by the converter at different modes of operation of the inductor core is considered.By modeling it is shown that the level of conductive noise increases significantly when the core is operating on a nonlinear section of the characteristic.
