Abstract

Technological developments have caused changes in work patterns in offices, including BPJS Employment, Medan Kota Branch, which has decreased since the last three years. The decline in employee performance was exacerbated by the presence of the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused employees to have to work from home, so that it had an impact on their work-life balance and organizational support. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work-life balance and perceived organizational support on the performance of employees of BPJS Employment, Medan Kota Branch mediated by affective commitment. This research is quantitative research. The population in this study was 50 employees of BPJS Employment Medan Kota Branch. The number of samples in this study was 50, with a saturated sampling technique. The data analysis method used is SEM with SmartPLS. The results indicate that the factors that directly affect the employees’ performance at BPJS Employment, Medan Kota Branch include work-life balance, perceived organizational support, and affective commitment.
