Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of work environment and job promotion on job satisfaction among employees of PT Binayasa Karya Pratama in the DKI Jakarta area branch, with career development as an intervening variable. The research method employs a quantitative approach, and data is collected through an electronic survey. The sampling technique used is non probability sampling: saturation sampling. The total number of sample respondents involved in this study is 92 individuals. Data analysis is conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the assistance of smart PLS 3.0 software. The findings of this study indicate the following: 1) The work environment has a significant positive direct effect on job satisfaction. 2) Job promotion has a significant positive direct effect on job satisfaction. 3) The work environment has a significant positive direct effect on career development. 4) Job promotion has a significant positive direct effect on career development. 5) Career development has a significant positive direct effect on job satisfaction. 6) Career development significantly and positively mediates the relationship between the work environment and job satisfaction. 7) Career development significantly and positively mediates the relationship between job promotion and job satisfaction.
