Abstract
The possibility of intensifying the oxidation of aluminum metal with water by ultrasonic treatment at room temperature was demonstrated for the first time. The influence of ultrasound on the main process stages was analyzed. Changes in the structure of the products were evidence of possible metal dispersion during oxidation. Oxidation activation by short ultrasonic pulses was observed.
