Abstract
The article presents research results on the water physical properties of sod-podzolic soils forming from binomial deposit sediments. The authors show that the granulometric composition of water-glacial deposits and the depth of the underlying rocks of sod-podzolic soils have adverse agrophysical properties. These properties affect crop productivity as a result of soaking crops in the autumn-winter period and a healthy moisture deficit in the vegetation period. The authors show the dependence of organic matter content, water-physical quantities on the range of particles of physical clay. The authors draw a clear differentiation of water physical properties along the profile of sod-podzolic soils.
