Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of the health management intervention on the health behavior of the aged patients with hypertension in empty-nest family. Methods One hundred aged patients with hypertension in empty-nest family were selected into the 6-month health management intervention.The questionnaire survey on the aged patients with hypertension in empty-nest familyandThe questionnaire survey on the awareness of the healthy knowledge of the aged patients with hypertension in empty-nest familywere adopted in this survey. The data before and after the intervention were compared. Results After the health management intervention, the compliance behavior and the awareness rate of the healthy knowledge were improved. There were difference between the data that before and after the intervention(P < 0. 05 or P <0.01). Conclusions The health management intervention can improve the compliance behavior and the awareness rate of the healthy knowledge, thus can help the aged patients with hypertension in emptynest family to form the healthy behavior.
