Abstract

Experimental data on the comprehensive physicochemical study (by structural, thermomechanical, and thermodynamic methods) of ethyl cellulose (EC) and rubber of different chemical nature, as well as blends of EC and nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) in the wide composition range are given. The concentration range of the studied blends, which is characterized by the formation of a homogeneous thermoelastoplastic composite with high adhesion parameters relative to that of materials of various chemical nature (rubber, lignocellulosic materials, etc.), is experimentally identified.
