Abstract
The magnetic domain pattern of several grain oriented samples of different thickness (9 and 7 mil) were investigated using the Bitter technique. The average domain wall spacing of each specimen is correlated with the results obtained from texture analysis and power loss measurements. It is shown that the texture function predicts correctly the value of the domain wall spacing but this parameter could not be related to the total power losses.
