Abstract

In this work the technical parameters influence on the critical stiffness of the steering gear of a typical transport aircraft is investigated in the Simulink graphical programming environment using the software package for solving MATLAB technical calculations. The calculation is performed for the maximum and minimum values of the charging pressure and the shock absorber compression. It is found that increasing the compression of the shock absorber from 0 to 127 mm for all charging pressures is accompanied by a decrease in the value of the critical stiffness of the steering drive for rotation. This is due to the increase in the rigidity of the riser at point O with the increase in compression and the constant value of lateral and heel rigidity.
