Abstract

SUMMARY The objective was to establish the effect of sunflo wer oil cake incorporated in fodder, on broilers development. There were used 4 lots of broilers: the control lot L1 (M) ‐only soy oil cake was used as fodder protein; lot L2 ‐beside s soy oil cake, sunflower oil cake (7%) and synthetic aminoacids were used; lot L3 ‐in addition to soy oil cake there were introduced in fodder sunflower oil cake (12%) and synthetic aminoacids; lot L4 ‐besides soy oil cake, there were used sunflower oil cake (7%), fish meal (2%) a nd synthetic aminoacids. At the end of the 6th week, maximum values for weight gain were registered: 97.89 g/day for lot 1 (M), 91.64 g/day in lot 2, 93.19 g/day for lot 3 and 96. 06 g/day for lot 4. The results attest that sunflower oil cake is well capitalized by broilers, especially used in small proportion (7%), primarily in combination with fish meal. Average weight (g)
