Abstract
ABSTRACT Adistortion model for unsaturated soils subjected to continuously increasing deviatoric stresses was developed and evaluated using triaxial compression data from four agricultural soils. The effects of load paths on sample configuration were investigated. The type of load path had considerable effect on sample distortion. The model that was developed adequately represented both types of load paths.
