Abstract

Couple short video is a short video type with couples as the main performers, focusing on various common themes to show an emphasis on the emotional life of them. Combining the content and characteristics of these short videos, this paper adopts the videos on the Douyin platform as an example, and uses questionnaire surveys and data analysis to investigate the impact of couple short videos on youth's view of marriage and love and its path of influence. It is found that short videos of couples promote the viewers to be more careful and rational to face love and marriage, while maintaining the expectation of a healthy relationship, which promotes the formation of a healthy attitude towards marriage and love. In addition, the emotional resonance and social interaction also strengthened the youth's re-examination of the issue of marriage and love. However, there are still limitations to the influence of couple-type short videos.
