Abstract

Objective: The aim of this research is to determine the influence of social factors and economic factors on the presence of overdimensional and overloading vehicles on the Jakarta Cikampek Indonesia Toll Road. Theoretical framework: This study refers to a theoretical framework related to the influence of social factors and economic factors on the existence of overdimensional and overloading vehicles. By integrating these theoretical perspectives, this research seeks to comprehensively analyze social and economic factors regarding the existence of overdimensional and overloading vehicles and offer practical solutions to overcome the identified problems. Method: This study uses quantitative research based on positivism to investigate predetermined populations on the Jakarta Cikampek Indonesia Toll Road. The sample size is 30 respondents, and data is collected using probability or random sampling. The study aims to test hypotheses and analyze causal relationships between independent and dependent variables. Data collection involves summarizing, determining main problems, focusing on important issues, and eliminating unnecessary items. Results: The study found that both social and economic factors positively influence the level of overdigestion and overloading in the workplace, indicating a positive relationship between these factors. Conclusion: There is a positive influence from social factors and economic factors on the presence of overdimensional and overloading vehicles on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.
