Abstract

The effects of both wall slip conditions and heat transfer on peristaltic flow of MHD Newtonian fluid in a porous channel with elastic wall properties have been studied under the assumptions of long-wavelength and low-Reynolds number. The analytical solution has been derived for the stream function and temperature. The results for velocity, temperature, stream function and heat transfer coefficient obtained in the analysis have been evaluated numerically and discussed briefly. The numerical result shows that more trapped bolus appears with increasing Knudsen number.
