Abstract
In this study, Ce0.8Sm0.1Yb0.1O2-α (CSYb) was synthesized using a nitrate combustion method. CSYb added 2 wt% CuO sintering aid was also prepared at different sintering temperatures. The XRD, SEM and AC impedance spectroscopy were used to study the influence of sintering temperature on the structure and electrical performance of the samples. The XRD spectra indicated that the samples all had a good single-phase cubic fluorite structure. The SEM images showed that the grain sizes of the samples increased with the increase of sintering temperature. The conductivities of 1400-CSYb-CuO and 1450-CSYb-CuO reached 2.3 × 10−2 S.cm−1 and 2.8 × 10−2 S.cm−1 at 750 °C, respectively.
