The Influence of Profitability and Capital Structure on Company Value with Dividend Policy as a Moderating Variable in Consumer Companies which is listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the 2018-2021 Period

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the company value of consumer companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The variables tested include Profitability, Capital Structure, Company Value with Dividend Policy as a Moderating variable. This research involves consumer companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2018-2021 period. Sample selection was carried out using the purposive sampling method. The data used is external data, obtained from the site www.idx.co.id. The data analysis process was carried out using PLS Algorithm calculations using SmartPLS and then hypothesis testing was carried out. Results. Research shows that Profitability has a positive relationship towards Company Value, Capital Structure has no effect on Company Value, Dividend Policy is unable to mediate the influence of Profitability and Car Structure on Company Value.
