Abstract

Glioblastoma remains the most common and lethal brain tumor in adults with a poor prognosis. Thinking about immunological influences, the question if postoperative infections have any efforts on survival arises consistently. Of our knowledge, this is the first study to evaluate a large group of glioma patients with postoperative infections, itemized by intracranial, extracranial and systemic infection.
