Abstract
A method for computer calculation of deformations and stresses in polydomain ferroelectric crystals is presented in this paper. Using this method, calculation of the influence of lighting on deformations and stresses in the crystals BaTiO3 with 180° and 90° domains was performed. In the case of a single domain plate BaTiO3 it is shown that when being lighted from one side it is bent forming the surface with negative Gauss curvature.
