Abstract
The study investigated relationships among compatibility, decision making structure, and work group performance. Twenty-four groups in two different decision-making conditions participated in the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Decision Game. Signifi cant interaction effects between compatibility and decision-making structure point to further refinement of the Fundamental Interpersonal Orientation Behavior (FIRO-B) compatibility postulate.
