Abstract

This study is conducted to determine the influence of Intellectual Capital and Corporate Financial Performance and Capital Structure influence on the Performance of the Finance Company. In this study, the Intellectual capital is measured by using Value Added Intellectual Coefficient (VAICTM), measured by using the Capital Structure Deb-to Equity Ratio (DER), and Corporate Financial Performance which is measured by using a Return on Equity (ROE). The test equipment used in this research is multiple linier regression analysis. The population of the banking sector is a sub-company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and the sample selection technique used in this research is a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling. Then there are 21 companies in year 2010-2014 used as this research objective. The research results show that there is a significant positive influence among Intellectual Capital and Financial Performance and Capital Structure which significantly causes positive influences on the company’s financial performance. Besides that, companies also must own strategies on the management of capital structure because the condition of the capital structure will give direct result to the position of company's finance so it will influence the corporate financial performance. It is advisable to test the relationship between the components of Intellectual Capital formative using VAICTM, which consists of three components, namely VACA, VAHU, and STVA, so that it can be known which component is the most influential component of the company's financial performance.
