Abstract

Objective To explore the nursing effect of information-knowledge-belief-behavior model on breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Methods A total of 92 cases of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy treated in our hospital from April 2012 to April 2016 were selected and were randomly divided into two groups, 46 cases in each group.The control group adopted routine care, while the observation group were given the information-knowledge-belief-behavior model.The cancer-related fatigue, the effect of improvement of the quality of life and negative emotions of the two groups were compared. Results The score of cancer-related fatigue of the observation group after nursing was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The HAMA and HAMD scores of the observation group after nursing were lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) .The score of individual nursing quality of life was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions The implementation of information-knowledge-belief-behavior model on breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy can relieve the cancer-related fatigue symptoms of patients and improve the negative emotions, and effectively improve the quality of life of patients, so it is worthy of promotion.
