Abstract

To explore the role and mechanism of insulin-like growth factor 2 mRNA-binding protein 3 (IGF2BP3) formed in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. By using oleic acid stimulation L-O2 to induce fatty liver model, we observe the changes of relevant biochemical indexes by interference of IGF2BP3 gene expression, to investigate the change of the formation of lipid droplets through oil red O staining. Compared with control cells, in fatty liver cell model group, IGF2BP3 expression level increased significantly (P<0.05). As to the biochemical indicators: alanine transaminase (ALT), aspertate aminotransferase (AST), triglycerides, and tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin 6 levels were significantly increased (all P<0.05). But, after interference of IGF2BP3 gene expression, ALT, AST, triglycerides, tumor necrosis factor-α, and interleukin 6 levels were significantly decreased (all P<0.05). Fatty droplet formation infatty liver cells were dramatically improved.
