Abstract
The article examines the influence of fitball-aerobics classes on the level of physical health of elementary school students belonging to a special medical group. The purpose of the study is to experimentally test the effect of fitball aerobics on the optimization of the physical health of students in grades 7-9 of the special department. Research methods: theoretical analysis of program-methodical and normative documents; pedagogical experiment; physiometry, pulsometry, anthropometry; methods of mathematical statistics The basis for the formation of the experimental methodology was the following pedagogical provisions: all physical education lessons with elements of fitball-aerobics were compiled according to pedagogical principles, corresponded to the age characteristics of students, the level of health and the nosology of the disease; the lessons met the interests of schoolchildren, included innovative teaching technologies and various means of health-improving methods and fitness technologies using fitball. Conclusions. Checking the effectiveness of the experimental research work showed the positive impact of the proposed methodology for improving the level of physical health of schoolchildren in grades 7-9 of the special department.
