Abstract

We have observed energy transfer between 3d levels of Cr +3 (energy donors) and 4f levels of Nd +3 (energy acceptors) in DMSO Solution. Neodymium and chromium concentration range where the processes due to donor-acceptor interactions are dominant has been determined. The influence of neodymium ions on concentration quenching of chromium phosphorescence has been studied. The shiff of critical concentration point of Cr +3 towards higher concentration due to the presence of Nd +3 ions has been observed.
