Abstract
Desipramine increases the sensitivity of the isolated tail artery of the rat to extraluminal noradrenaline much more than to intraluminal noradrenaline. Accumulation of radioactivity after infusions with dl-7- 3H-noradrenaline is inhibited when noradrenaline is given by the extraluminal route and is unaffected when noradrenaline is given into the lumen.
