Abstract

The phase transformation behavior of melt-spun nanocomposite alloys of composition Nd 2[Co 0.06 (Fe 1− x Cr x ) 0.94] 23.2B 1.48 (0 ⩽ x < 0.09) as a function of chromium content ultimately controls the final phase constitution, character and chemistry of the alloys, which in turn control their room-temperature hysteretic magnetic properties.
