Abstract

1 Geothermal Geology The Rehai (Hot Sea) geothermal field is at 24°57.5′N and 98°26.5′E in amountainous (1400-1800 m) area, approximately 18 km southwest of TengchongTown. The Rehai field has noticeable surface manifestations including boiling springsand fumaroles with a maximum temperature of about 96℃. The thermal springsdischarge water of the sodium-chloride-bicarbonate type with TDS of 2. 8 g/l and SiO_2of 450 mg/l. By geothermometers, the reservoir temperature is generally 23O℃. The
