Abstract
A program of study leading to the Master of Library Science degree which allows specialization in chemical information science has been developed at Indiana University. Prerequisites and course requirements are presented, with particular emphasis on the three Chemistry Department courses which form the core of the program. Course content and teaching methodology for those course are outlined. In addition, the role of the Chemistry Department's Chemical Information Center (CIC) is discussed.
