Abstract

Summary This article describes a cross-sectional study of the in-patient physiotherapy service at Western Regional Hospital, Pokhara, Nepal. After presentation of dates and clinical observations, characteristics and problems are identified and analysed within the wider context of healthcare and its availability. Existing and potential strategies are discussed, and conclusions drawn for the development of the service.
