Abstract

Dusun Soko, Menang Village is one of the agribusiness villages in Pagu District, Kediri Regency. Main commodities of Menang Village are star fruit with sales volume reaching 105 tons of star fruit every year which are sold to traditional markets and Gudang Garam market. But the perishable nature of the fruit causes farmers to sell cheaply if the harvest season is over. Therefore, the community took the initiative to process starfruit into star fruit juice to extend shelf life and increase the economic value of the fruit. One of the products of this village PKK farming business is the "menso" star fruit juice. Consumers of this product are actually quite a lot, especially before Lebaran. However, due to technology limitations in processing production, from extortion, filtration, and heating, which are still traditional, until the packaging is still manual, the processed star fruit juice produced is still limited. Marketing is also still in the surrounding environment and is only done when there are orders with limited capacity. This is a problem for this farmer group to process abundant starfruit products during the harvest season to become products that have high economics and are durable. In this Community Partnership Program, the author intends to apply extortion, filtration, heating, and packaging technology to marketing star fruit juice to overcome the problems that occur in the starring group of the Village of Win. The method of activity uses a community approach that involves the community directly in each stage, both in training, mentoring and organization.
