Abstract

It was our pleasure to read the article by Gloy et al. (2022), who explored the value of an immersive virtual reality (VR) atlas in anatomy education. It was demonstrated that this teaching method was beneficial for students' knowledge and, thus, it was recommended as a support in cadaveric dissection courses. According to the authors, the effectiveness of the immersive VR atlas could be attributed to the high immersion of the virtual environment or to the possibility of free and interactive exploration of a realistic representation of anatomy.
