This paper mainly aims at bringing an overview and executing the importance analysis of leisure-related Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) journals. Using the Multivariate Adaptive Regression Splines (MARS) statistical analysis method, three parameters of "Tourism", "Leisure" and "Hospitality" are selected as being significantly important for leisure-related SSCI journals in 2008, and four parameters of "Tourism", "Hospitality", "Sport" and "Leisure" are in 2009.
