The importance of teaching ethno-cultural information in the epic novel "Abai zholy " (The path of Abai)

Abstract

Auezov's epic novel" The Path of Abai " is a work that has a rich national colour, contains all the gems of the history of the nation, reflects national traditions, national character, and national identity. The image of Abay is a complex whole. Images around Abay, events related to Abai convey the national identity and values of the Kazakh people. The author describes the work with the most colourful images, psychological images, and skill. It is known that there will be no spiritual revival if the national spirit, the national code, and the national culture are not preserved. The main national symbol of the people, the history and development of which consists of historically formed life forms. Abay's wisdom is an example for all mankind. The article discusses the development of ethnocultural competence in the formation of personality through the study of the epic novel "The Path of Abay", which should be one of the main goals in the education system. In addition, the potential of ethnocultural information in the epic novel "The Path of Abay" in the formation of the system of national values ​​is considered. It is stated that teaching through the full presentation of the literary heritage is the goal of the spiritual and cognitive development of our national culture. The relevance of the ethnocultural information raised in the novel-epopee, the modern nature of which is determined, tries to explain the epic novel by teaching methods, to rethink the views of the author. The author's novel-epopee is methodologically analyzed to convey national values, expand the cognitive world of the reader. The artistic and aesthetic nature of the work is differentiated through the systematic study of the work, which reflects the life, customs, traditions, national and cultural features of the Kazakh people. Indicators of national identity in the novel-epic are individualized, their place and function in the modernization are studied. It is said that the writing of a work of art, its teaching and analysis is confirmed by creative abilities, effective methods, the formation of a nationally rich spiritual, intelligent, faithful, strong, educated individual as a result of ethnocultural competence.
