Abstract
AbstractThis work shows the necessity of use the software in the electronics industry of Mexicali city evaluating an important device, which is the PLC (Programming Logic Controller) as specialized equipment to control industrial operations of the manufacturing areas and is considered as a technological revolution. This investigation was made in a small company with 100 workers that represents to small and medium-sized companies (SMC) and fabricates laptops, cell phones, and televisions, where the majorly of these operations were manual activities and were changed to automatized functions with the use of PLC. With this device, the productivity and quality levels were increased in 30%, avoiding human errors and, principally, were increased the time of life of industrial systems and machinery in 40%.
