Abstract

Based on the analysis of the main factors driving the Fourth Industrial Revolution and its current stageof evolution, and considering the possible social and economic impacts, particularly regarding theelimination of traditional jobs and the creation of new occupations, this article examines the importanceof Basic Education, with a focus on the necessary adaptation of teaching methodologies, as ways offacing the challenges and taking advantage of new the opportunities that arise.
