Abstract

Culture-based mathematics learning is one way to make mathematics learning meaningful and contextual which is closely related to society's culture. Ethnomathematics is his field of study. The goal of this field is to reveal the structure of analysis. Ethnomathematics can also be considered a course that teaches students how to understand, express, think about, and ultimately apply mathematical ideas, concepts, and procedures to situations related to their daily lives. For educators who develop an ethnomathematics-based educational approach, it is important to consider the problem concepts discussed above that can be found and developed in ethnomathematics-based problems.
