The Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking (TTCT) was used to measure the level of students’ creativity. The study was conducted at the School of Music, Soochow University. A total of 95 students were involved in the experiment. According to the results of the pre-test, the majority of students (52%) have a low level of creativity development, while 35% have an average level and only 13% have a low level. The findings of the study show the high importance placed on developing creative thinking skills as part of music training programs in universities.
