Abstract
There is no doubt that the issue of financing green economy projects has become one of the most important issues that occupy the interest of governments and bodies concerned with protecting the environment. The green economy in Algeria is considered a radical solution to the economic situation in Algeria. Given the weak contribution of the rest of the sectors, other than the oil sector, to economic growth, so the number of job positions can be increased by going to one of the branches of the green economy; and this is what Algeria is striving to embody on the ground through some projects, specifically aimed at promoting development and diversifying the national economy, through its endeavor to move towards a green economy. this study aims to demonstrate the role of the green economy in achieving sustainable development and contributing to economic diversification.
