Abstract

This paper considers the current situation of the timber complex of the Russian Far East and the effect of changes in the institutional conditions of wood export on the regional timber complex. It compares possible scenarios of the complex’s development after Russia’s accession to the WTO under conditions of the preservation or modification of the institutions regulating forest exploitation and timber trade.
