Abstract

With the development of the new BeiDou Navigation Satellite System, its signal structure is quite different from that of the past. Its multi-peak characteristics and extended main code have brought great challenges to the design of the software receiver, and its speed of data processing is very slow. We propose an optimized design of multithreaded software receiver based on SIMD technique, which can greatly improve the utilization of CPU and memory and shorten the time spent on signal processing. The real data test shows that the CPU and memory of the software receiver are in high utilization rate, the efficiency of program execution is greatly improved, and the time of signal processing is shortened to 1/6 of the original.
