Abstract

Studies show that hip fracture is a global problem and is common among the elderly. A study stated that the incidence rate of hip fracture is as high as 171/100000 [1]. The study also stated that the risk of hip fracture increases with increasing lifespan. As a result, the elderly patients tend to have worse prognoses and longer recovery time than the younger ones [2].
