Abstract

The paper examines the impact of the greening tax system on sustainable development with a political economy perspective. The influence of greening tax system, green gross domestic product (green GDP) and education on developing sustainability are reviewed. The research shows that the greening tax system has a positive influence on developing sustainability, including decreasing air pollutant, improving the quality of marine environment, decreasing the percentage of light polluted rivers, and increasing garbage recycling rate. Furthermore, the greening tax system has a positive influence on economic growth and green GDP. Nevertheless, the innovative approach of green education is suggested for future sustainable development.
