Abstract

The so-called ''''information revolution'' currently taking place in society is due largely to the development of home information-exchange electronic systems. These include the U.K. Teletext video display terminal, the Warner Corp. Communications' Qube system, a Computer Assisted Makeup and Imaging System, and electronic information exchange systems developed by the Bell Telephone Corp., Xerox Corp., RCA, and IBM. It is hoped that use of these systems will result in an increased awareness of environmental news and information. (15 references)
