Abstract

T1 mapping is increasingly used for myocardial tissue characterization. Inversion recovery (MOLLI, ShMOLLI) or saturation recovery sequences (SASHA) are used to measure myocardial T1. The impact of sequence selection for T1 measurement in the clinical settings remains poorly understood. Therefore, we compared native T1 values obtained by MOLLI, ShMOLLI and SASHA in cardiac transplant patients and in healthy volunteers.
